Market Days - Saturday, April 12th, 8am - 1pm

Enjoy those beautiful Texas mornings, stretch your legs, and support local vendors at the April Market Days on Saturday, April 12 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Mary Kyle Hartson Park, 101 S. Burleson St.

Visitors can check out local vendors, including food, drink, arts and crafts, and farm-to-market items while enjoying live music, a playground for kids and areas to sit and visit with your friends and neighbors.

Market Days often occur in tandem with various community celebrations and take place on the second Saturday of each month from April to November. Market Days is hosted and organized by the City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department

Easter Egg Egg-stravaganza - Sat, Apr 19th, 10am - 1:30pm

Get the family together and hop on over to Gregg-Clarke Park for the Easter Egg-Stravaganza on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

This fun-filled, community event is hosted by the City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department and includes a spectacular Easter Egg drop for children of nearly all ages and abilities as well as food and drink vendors, arts and crafts vendors, music, face painting, games Easter Bunny photo opportunities and much more. 

Parking is available at Gregg-Clarke Park, Wallace Middle School and the AMVETS parking lot. ADA parking is available at the park near Center Street. We encourage attendees to arrive early for this event as parking is limited.

There is no cost for admission and no pre-registration is required. This is a weather-dependent event.

Egg Drop Schedule

The Easter Egg hunt is for children 8 months to 12 years of age. Multiple egg drops are scheduled. The egg drops begin at 10:30 a.m. and will take place on the Athletic Field at Gregg-Clarke Park.

Each age group will have one drop to ensure a timely and organized event. Please refer to the schedule below for your designated time:

  • Ages 3 and Under: 10:30 AM - 10:50 AM

  • Ages 4-6 Years: 11:05 AM - 11:25 AM

  • Break: 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM

  • Ages 7-9 Years: 12:20 - 12:40 PM

  • Ages 10-12 Years: 12:55 PM - 1:15 PM

Please be sure to arrive on time for your scheduled session to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate.

Martian Arts Festival
Celebrate San Marcos’ diversity and vibrant culture with Martian Arts Festival! The festival showcases local talent by blending arts and music to provide a distinguishably unforgettable experience. This weekend is loaded with musical acts ranging from reggae rock to fusion jazz, plus silent disco, local artisans, yoga and meditation sessions, workshops and much more!

Just for Fun Parade
The Just for Fun Parade is exactly what it sounds like, a parade for no other purpose than to have fun. Bust out your wildest outfit and get ready to join the parade!
Meet everyone by Children's Park at 9am to walk, ride, pedal or roll your way towards Downtown on CM Allen Parkway. Rather just watch? The parade starts at 10am. Line the streets on the Square and bring all your friends to watch a little Saturday morning craziness.
