People often see the pretty pictures of houses, the closing day smiles, and the “Sold” signs… but being a Realtor® is so much more than showing homes.
A day in my life looks a little like this…
☕ Coffee with my husband before the day begins.
📖 Prayer, Bible study, gratitude, and journaling to start with the right mindset.
📱 Checking in with current clients and reaching out to past clients because relationships matter long after closing day.
🏡 Searching for homes for my buyers, sending listings that match their wish lists, scheduling showings, final walk-throughs, coordinating keys, and celebrating clients with little Popeye gifts.
📊 Studying the market, keeping up with trends and predictions, and completing continuing education to maintain my real estate license.
💻 Bookkeeping, marketing, emails, phone calls, and all the behind-the-scenes business that keeps everything running.
🚗 Picking up signs and lockboxes from one listing and installing them at another.
🧘 Squeezing in a yoga class to reset.
☕ Coffee with a friend, planning dinner with another, and ending the day with a date night with my husband.
🎓 Somewhere in between… shopping for dorm furniture for our youngest and booking hotels for college move-in because life doesn’t pause while you’re running a business.
Some days are full of contracts. Some are full of conversations. Some are full of errands. Most are all of the above.
I wouldn’t trade it. I get to help people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives while building a business that allows me to prioritize faith, family, friendships, and community.
It’s not always glamorous, but it’s meaningful - and I’m grateful for every single day. ❤️
