You know I love local - no matter where I am!
We got to move Lindsay into her new apartment and we stayed about an hour away - but, every drive we got to see huge rolling green hills and valleys, trees, tiny towns interspersed, and lots of historic homes and churches.
We stumbled upon this old diner - Diner 22 which used to be an old rail car and had been run as a diner by the same family since the 70s.
We got to visit our girl at work - Irving’s downtown Penn St campus - known for their bagels and breakfast.
There’s just something about a college town…the excitement, energy, the mix of old and new (both the buildings and the people), the local scene, the beauty, and the walkability. Maybe it’s also the nostalgia…maybe that’s why I love living in a college town.
We loved our time in PA this time and got to enjoy the beautiful weather which has me ready and wishing for Fall!
