I’ve always loved hygge…long before I even knew there was a word for it. 🤍
Creating spaces that feel cozy, warm, safe, and inviting has always been one of my love languages. There’s just something about making a space feel like home - and welcoming the people you love into it.
Our trip to Penn State to move Lindsay into her new apartment gave me two of my favorite love languages at once: quality time and creating hygge spaces for my people.
Once we got everything moved in and settled, we knew it needed just a little more hygge. So we ordered a big round rug, added more pillows, found a wall hanging, and watched as they made the space completely their own.
And honestly, what an honor it is to be trusted to help the people you love create a home that feels like theirs.
Because home isn’t just where you live. It’s how you feel when you’re there. 🤍
And I think I’ve been creating that feeling my whole life…I just didn’t know there was a word for it.
And I get to do this for a living too- welcome people home. 🏡
